The size of the EEA-PAM-525-A-32 is in accordance with the standard Eurocard guidelines. Included is an input module with five inputs, one of which is inverting. The input current of the card ranges from 0-20 mA. The device uses DC current and has an output control supply of 15V, along with an input supply of 24V. The amplifier can accept voltages from 20V to 40V, but shuts down if the voltage drops under 18V. To allow the user to monitor the amplifier’s condition and state, there are multiple LED indicators and monitoring points located on the device’s front panel. There are also controls in regards to deadband compensation and gain adjustment. There is also a ramp function generator that can be disabled using a ramp toggle button.
For high efficiency, the EEA-PAM-525-A-32 uses pulse width modulation. The card also has short circuit prevention on all outputs and inputs and is also EMC protected.
