The EEA-PAM-561-D-32 is a power amplifier produced by Vickers, a company acquired by Eaton in 1999, and a well known name in the hydraulics industry. Vickers focuses on the development of advanced equipment and electronics for power and motion control applications. This power amplifier is part of the D-32 series and is designed based on an amplifier from the A-32 series. The EEA-PAM-561-D-32 adds several new features while retaining ones from the A-32. This amplifier is built to be used with the KFDG5V-5/7 proportional valve.
The nominal input power supply voltage for the EEA-PAM-561-D-32 is 24V, the control output voltage is 15V and the acceptable current range is from 0 to 20 mA. The amplifier can be stored in temperature ranges of -25 and 85°C. The ambient operating temperature for the device is between 0 and 50°C. The amplifier also makes use of pulse width modulation, which increases the device’s efficiency.
